Unity Server is a prerequisite for Service Providers to deliver Instant Messaging. It features a Java based engine that can be scaled with the addition of extra processing power; no further licensed instances of the Unity Server are ever required. Unity Server also acts as a proprietary signaling relay between Unity Clients.
